Nova Scotia Home Inspectors

When purchasing a property a thorough home inspection by a qualified inspector is essential.  A home inspection can identify structural or safety deficiencies in a property that may not have been apparent to the untrained eye during initial viewings.  Even if a home is free of serious problems, the inspection process itself is a great learning opportunity for the new home owner giving them a better understanding of the home’s structure and systems (eg: heating, electrical, plumbing, etc.).  In addition, the inspection better prepares a Buyer for the on-going maintenance that is part of responsible home ownership.

Quite often we advise our Seller clients to consider a pre-inspection of their home prior to putting it on the market.  Better to uncover and address any issues or deficiencies before a Buyer comes along.  This is all the more important in a Buyers’ market, where that elusive Buyer has so many other properties to choose from.
